Dr. S: Next, please!
???: *opens the door and walks in calmly, sitting down on the sofa* Hello.
Dr: Hello, young man. Mister Roxas, I presume?
Roxas: Yes, I'm-
Axel: *poofs in* Hey, baby!
Dr: Oh it's you again. What are you doing here?
Axel: Couple therapy, sweet cheeks!
Dr: Sure, but I don't see-
Axel: I'm half of the couple! *flings an arm around Roxas* His better half!
Roxas: that could be debated.
Axel: Debated how, blondie? *tugs a lock of Roxas's hair*
Roxas: *knocks the hand away* Debated in that I'm not entirely convinced that you're the enhanced of the pair.
Axel: Enhanced? Ohh, baby I love it when you use tho
I raised an eyebrow, masking any evidence of my ever being sad. "Of course I am. What made you think I wasn't?"
A smile broke out on my face as I looked at him.
"You kinda, it's weird to say it, but you looked regretful just a few seconds ago. Along with sad, I was just worried." I explained as I gave his hand another squeeze before thinking over the acid box again. It would defiantly be tight but it could still work. It had to work.
"Nope. I'm definitely fine." I nodded to myself, looking down at our hands. I began to think about how I would get the acid out of one of the steel boxes. I could always dump the acid in some of Vexen's giant
"Reno, I don't know what happened that day, but I'm positive it's not your fault. It's not anyone's fault except for the assholes who did it." I reached out and stroked Reno's hair comfortingly, much like I did Axel's.
Reno smacked the hand away and glared.
"Do not touch his hair, yo. His is hair of royalty." He snapped before going back to look up at the sky and sighed.
"If you did know what happened that day, then ya would say it was my fault."
I blinked, not expecting him to slap me away. But wait, what did he say? Royalty?
"Wait... you're... royalty?" If that was true... that meant Axel was too.
"Yep, your talking to the future ki
"Free to do as I please? As in see Axel?" I looked at him with eyes that stung with my sadness. Please... please say I can see him. I... needed him.
"Yes. If you do the job well, I shall allow it today." Zexion said as if he didn't have a care in the world, he didn't even look up from his paper.
My heart thumped erraticly at the thought of being able to spend time with him. I hurried to the area where the papers were, busily starting on work for today.
Around two hours later, after much yawning and shuffling of papers, I was done. "Zexion... I think... I'm done."
"Pass me the six binders and If I they are correct then you are free to go.
"Gah!?" I stumbled back, the bucket flying up in the air as I fell on my bum onto the cold concrete. The bucket landed near the edge of the pool, some of it spilling over. "A-axel don't scare me like that!"
I placed a hand on my shirt over where my heart would be, breath hectic.
"Oh me sorry Rox." I smiled as I moved to the edge and sighed. I really had missed him.
I nodded, a small smile lighting my face now. "That's okay."
I stood up, grabbing the bucket once again and about to feed him, but somehow it didn't feel right. He wasn't just some animal I should throw food to... "Hmmn..."
"What'cha thinking abooout?"
"Eh? Oh... Well..." I
I shudder into his hands but didn't let go nor push them away. I felt so bad at this moment I needed this contact. This small amount of contact.
I buried my face in his small delicate hand as my body shook with another sob.
"....h-home..."
"Home..." Of course he missed home. Out in the ocean, right? Of course... he must've had a whole family there. Family and friends and a home, a community of people he knew, of things he missed...
Finally, I couldn't take it any longer. I let go of him entirely, slipping into the pool beside him and wrapping my arms around him. I couldn't help but hug him. It hurt to see him like this.
I kinda squeake
